Standard Booking Policy
Booking Period:
Reservations for members and public can be made up to 180 days / 6 months in advance
Payment:
Full payment is due 48 prior to your arrival.
Membership discounts (HI and ACC) should be applied at the time of booking by booking the "member direct" rate.
Accepted payment methods are credit cards: Mastercard, and Visa.
Changes:
Bookings are not transferrable to another party.
Membership discounts must be applied at the time of booking.
Cancellations:
Fully refundable with cancellations made with 48 hours’.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice and/or no-shows will be subject to paying for the first night's stay and a 6% admin fee on the refund amount.
Refunds:
Any refund is subject to a 6% administrative fee.

Yes! $3.00 per wash and dry.

We do not supply shampoo and conditioner. We do supply dish soap and hand soap.

All our locked doors have smart locks, we will email you your personalized door codes.

Our facility has onsite free parking for all guests. We have a loading zone in front of the main hostel and a seasonal loading zone in front of the bell cabin (a 200-meter road to the bell cabin is closed during the winter).

HI Canmore is nestled into the forest, which means we are in a highly protected environmental space. No fires are permitted on the property.

There is a designated smoking area in the lower parking lot.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Early check-in may be accommodated based on availability.

Guests are welcome to store luggage and belongings in the hostel’s secure storage area until check-in.

Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be arranged in advance, subject to availability and additional fees. Please inquire through the front desk or via email.

The hostel does not accommodate guests under 18 years of age if traveling without a parent or legal guardian. The primary contact for reservations must be at least 18 years old.

Children aged 12 and under can only stay in private rooms or privatized dorms and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children aged 13 to 17 can stay in shared accommodation when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Failure to comply will result in automatic booking cancellation.

No animals are permitted in the hostel, except for certified guide or service dogs.

The hostel has a maximum stay of 14 days (about 2 weeks) within a calendar year. Requests for longer stays can be made to the hostel management, subject to approval at the discretion of the hostel manager.
